Born in 1924, Haj Mohammed Abu Bakr Al-Zabta began his business journey in the 1950s, starting in trade before expanding his activities into construction, contracting, transportation, and catering. Through his vision and dedication, he laid the foundation for a strong and enduring institutional enterprise.
He firmly believed that building a nation begins with building its people and its institutions. Guided by this conviction, he instilled the values of integrity, excellence, and commitment—values that continue to define our work to this day.
Following his passing, his legacy lived on with the establishment of Geem Group, honoring his name and preserving the vision he began, while continuing the journey of serving his homeland, Libya.
